Growing up in a nomadic and creative household, Lois Yena found art to be a sacred, reliable space to explore the depths of human emotions and lived experiences as a Korean American Woman.
On a typical soporific Saturday, Lois uses acrylic, water color, or calligraphy to create whatever makes sense to her on blank canvases that she comes across.
Lois’ work has been exhibited and commissioned by Emory University, Richmond (VA) community leaders, the City of Atlanta, the Quickest Flip inclusionary art magazine, and the Family Violence Law Center.
